Temporary stay Wrocław - work

The set of documents that must be submitted with the application can be divided into formal documents (without providing these documents, the procedure is not initiated, and after 7 days from the date of the summons, the application is left without consideration) and additional documents (necessary for a positive decision).

Formal requirements - documents needed to obtain a stamp

  • 3 completed and signed applications,

  • Appendix 1

  • personal appearance of a foreigner,

  • submission of fingerprints,

  • 4 photos,

  • 3 copies of the passport,

  • lease agreement or other legal title to the premises

  • ZUS ZUA - or other equivalent document

  • confirmation of the fee for the procedure - PLN 440.

Substantive requirements - needed for release

  • Information from the starost

  • confirmation of professional qualifications in the case of e.g. welders, drivers, etc.

  • PIT 37 for the previous year or certificate of no arrears in taxes

Temporary stay - Science

A temporary residence permit may be granted to a foreigner if he or she intends to undertake or continue education in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
The above-mentioned permit is granted if the circumstances which constitute the basis for applying for this permit justify the foreigner's stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland for a period longer than 3 months.

Necessary documents:

  1. 3 copies of the application for a temporary residence permit completed in accordance with the instructions

  2. Four photos

  3. Copy of passport - original available for inspection

  4. a document confirming starting or continuing education,

  5. documents confirming the possession of health insurance within the meaning of the Act of 27 August 2004 on health care services financed from public funds or confirmation of coverage by the insurer of treatment costs in the territory of the Republic of Poland,

  6. documents confirming sufficient financial resources to cover the costs of living and return travel to the country of origin or residence, or the costs of transit to a third country which will grant permission to enter and the costs of education.

  7. The fee is PLN 340

Stay with a Polish citizen

Who Applies To:

- a foreigner who is a spouse of a Polish citizen;
- minor children of the spouse of a Polish citizen who has a temporary residence permit for a family member of a Polish citizen or a permanent residence permit granted in connection with being married to a Polish citizen.

  • A temporary residence permit is granted for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of the foreigner's stay in the territory of Poland from 3 months to 3 years, with the possibility of applying for further permits.

  • A residence permit granted to a foreigner, the spouse of a Polish citizen, entitles him to work without the need to have an additional work permit. The residence card issued in connection with granting this permit to the foreigner includes the annotation "access to the labor market".

Other family members of a Polish citizen and persons leading family life with him

A temporary residence permit may also be granted to other family members of a Polish citizen than a spouse and a minor stepchild if they are staying in Poland

- due to financial dependence on him or staying with him in the household, in the country from which the foreigner came, or
- because of serious health reasons requiring the personal care of this citizen.

An application for granting a permit may also be submitted by a foreigner who leads family life within the meaning of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms with a Polish citizen residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland, with whom he or she resides in this territory.

  • A temporary residence permit is granted for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of the foreigner's stay in the territory of Poland from 3 months to 3 years, with the possibility of applying for further permits.

  • This permit does not grant the right to work in Poland. In order to take up employment, you must additionally obtain a work permit, unless it is not required.

What documents do I need to submit?

 

  • 2 copies of the application for a temporary residence permit, completed in accordance with the instructions, in the case of foreigners who are under 13 years of age - only 1 copy of the application;

  • 4 current color photos,

  • valid travel document (2 photocopies of all its written pages

  • confirmation of payment of stamp duty.

Stay with a foreigner

1 . Who is the application for?


Family members of a foreigner who are already staying in Poland or intending to come here.

A spouse, minor child of a foreigner or his spouse may obtain a residence permit in Poland if he or she resides in Poland on the basis of one of the following residence permits:

- on the basis of a permanent residence permit,
- on the basis of a long-term resident's EU residence permit,
- in connection with granting him the refugee status,
- in connection with granting subsidiary protection,
- at least for a period of 2 years on the basis of subsequent temporary residence permits, including immediately before submitting an application for a temporary residence permit for a family member - on the basis of a permit granted to him for a period of stay of not less than 1 year,
- on the basis of a temporary residence permit for the purpose of conducting scientific research,
- on the basis of a temporary residence permit granted for the purpose of conducting scientific research, when the foreigner has a residence permit referred to in art. 1 clause 2 lit. and Council Regulation No. 1030/2002, with the annotation "scientist", issued by another Member State of the European Union, if the agreement on the admission of a foreigner for the purpose of carrying out a research project concluded with the relevant scientific unit of that state provides for the conduct of scientific research also on the territory of the Republic of Poland,
- on the basis of a temporary residence permit in order to work in a profession requiring high qualifications,
- on the basis of a temporary residence permit to perform work under the intra-corporate transfer,
- on the basis of a temporary residence permit granted in order to use long-term mobility,
- in connection with granting a residence permit for humanitarian reasons.

  • A temporary residence permit is granted for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of the foreigner's stay in the territory of Poland from 3 months to 3 years, with the possibility of applying for further permits.

  • This permit entitles the foreigner's spouse to perform work without the need to have an additional document entitling the foreigner to perform work in the form of a work permit. The residence card, issued in connection with granting a temporary residence permit to a foreigner, includes the annotation "access to the labor market".

What documents do I need to submit?

 

  • 2 copies of the application for a temporary residence permit filled in as instructed; in the case of foreigners under 13 years of age - only 1 copy of the application;

  • 4 current color photos,

  • valid travel document - photocopies of all its pages containing stamps, annotations and entries, original available for inspection, in the case of foreigners under 13 years of age - only 1 photocopy of the travel document;

  • confirmation of payment of stamp duty.

  • Documents confirming the circumstances indicated in the application.
